First Citizens Bank in Bethlehem robbed, suspect being sought

Authorities are searching for a man who reportedly robbed First Citizens Bank on NC 127 in Alexander County earlier today. At approximately 10:45 this morning a white man between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall reportedly robbed the bank at gunpoint. Police say the suspect was wearing a mask over his face, a red and green shirt, and sweatpants. He reportedly left the bank and headed east on Rink Dam Road in a silver older model Chrysler minivan.
