Two Hickory Men Face Drug Charges in Alexander County 9/12/2013 11:22:12 AM
29-year-old Christopher Dewayne Helton of Hickory has been arrested by Alexander Co. Sheriff’s Officers on one count each for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies also arrested and charged 53-year-old Mark Lawson Miller of Hickory for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges are the result of a vehicle stop made yesterday morning (September 11) on Highway 127 in Bethlehem. Officers seized a quantity of methamphetamine and paraphernalia from the vehicle.
Helton was placed under a $5,000 secured bond and Miller’s bond was set at $1,000. Both men were scheduled to appear in District Court on September 16.
