Rep. McHenry Delivers Grant Check to Newton Fire Department 8/13/2013 2:07:55 PM
U.S. Congressman Patrick McHenry on Tuesday presented the Newton Fire Department with a $126,102 check from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The Newton Fire Department will use the grant to purchase 31 radios, completing its transition to 800 MHz radios. McHenry announced in May the awarding of the grant to Newton.
