Charlotte Man Arrested for Friday Wells Fargo Robbery 3/17/2013 5:03:58 PM
43-year-old Randolph Mortamoore Crosby of Parkway Avenue in Charlotte was arrested by Hickory Police at about 11 p.m. Friday (March 15) and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon in connection to a robbery at the Wells Fargo bank in downtown Hickory at about ten o’clock that morning. He also faces a misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tips from the public led police to Crosby after his picture was shown in the media earlier in the day. Crosby was located in Hickory and taken into custody without incident.
In addition, Crosby was served outstanding 2011 warrants for obtaining property by false pretense, financial card fraud and financial card theft.
Crosby is currently being held in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a total bond of $90,000, secured. He’ll make a first court appearance on the robbery charge Monday (March 18) in Newton. A Superior Court date on the outstanding warrants was se t for April 9.
