Wells Fargo in Downtown Hickory Robbed 3/15/2013 2:20:57 PM
At approximately 10 a.m. today (March 15), a black male dressed in a dark jacket, a dark toboggan and wearing a black back brace walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 200 1st Avenue N.W. in Hickory. The suspect approached a teller. He said he had a gun and demanded money. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the bank on foot. The suspect is described as approximately 6 feet tall, 250 pounds and in his late 40s.
Hickory Police are investigating the incident. Anyone who has information is urged to contact the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551.
