L-R freshman Vertrice Wilson (Carrollton, Ga.) established a new school record in the women's 100-meter hurdles (15.76), good for second place overall.
For the Lenoir-Rhyne men's squad, senior Justin McCombs (Catawba, N.C.) won the 200-meter dash (22.10) and finished second in the 400-meter dash (49.22).
Sophomore Jarrod Spears (Bunnlevel, N.C.) placed second in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.92 seconds while McCombs and Spears were the third and fourth legs, respectively, of the men's 400-meter relay team (42.31) which finished first.
