Lenoir Man Charged with Misdemeanor Drug Offenses

23-year-old Calvin Smith Jones of Dug Hill Road in Lenoir was arrested by Caldwell Co. Sheriff’s Officers yesterday (February 20) on charges of possession of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Schedule III typically refers to steroids, barbiturates and others.

Jones was taken to the Caldwell Co. Detention Center with bond set at $2,500, secured.  An appearance in District Court was scheduled for March 7 in Lenoir.
