MDPS Seeks Public Help in Solving Break-Ins 2/12/2013 6:46:06 AM
Investigators with the Morganton Dept. of Public Safety are seeking information leading to the arrest of suspects responsible for two residential break-ins over the past seven days. The break-ins each occurred in different parts of the city, but all inside the city limits of Morganton.
In the first break-in, numerous items were stolen, including multiple firearms, multiple flat screen TVs, a Motorola Zoom tablet, a men’s class ring from Chapel Hill, a CYMA men’s gold watch, a Bear compound bow with arrows and a floor safe.
Among the items taken in the second break-in were three 42-inch flat screen TVs, a 46-inch flat screen TV, a 32-inch flat screen TV, numerous gold bracelets, a solid silver necklace with a heart from Tiffany’s, several authentic Chicago White Sox Team Jerseys, a Wii game console with five controllers and a Michael Jordan poster with authentic tickets.
