Hickory Woman Jailed on Felony Drug Charge

25-year-old Angelica Leann Crane of 17th Avenue N.E. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police on warrants out of Catawba County for felony possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, as well as misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked and other traffic offenses.  The warrants for her arrest were issued on January 15 in a case dating back to last year.  Schedule IV typically refers to Valium, xanax, clonazepam and other pills.

Crane has been confined in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $3,100, secured.  A District Court appearance in Newton was scheduled for February 26.
