37-year-old Michael Torrell Patterson of Stage Street in Lenoir was arrested by Lenoir Police yesterday for two probation violations and for failure to comply with a non-support agreement. Patterson is on probation for a March 2012 conviction in Caldwell County for two employment security violations, charges that are generally filed when someone makes a fraudulent unemployment claim.
Patterson was placed in the Caldwell Co. Detention Center with bond set at $50,000, secured, plus a $750 cash bond on the non-support charge. A court date on the non-support charge was set for January 25 with another District Court appearance for the probation violations coming up on February 4.
