Maiden Woman Jailed for Larceny; More

24-year-old Shelly Renee Bowman of Providence Road in Maiden was arrested by Granite Falls Police yesterday (January 2) on charges of larceny, possession of stolen property and simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.  Schedule IV typically refers to Valium, Xanax and other pills.

Bowman has been jailed in the Caldwell Co. Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond.  She will appear in District Court on Valentine’s Day in Lenoir.
