Hickory Public Library to Hold Digital Camera Workshop 1/2/2013 2:48:07 PM
Persons interested in learning more about digital cameras and their uses are invited to sign up for a free digital camera workshop at the Hickory Public Library. The six-hour workshop, entitled “What you need to know to buy and use a digital camera with your PC,” is scheduled for Tuesday & Thursday, January 15 & 17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The two-session class will be held at the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, 375 3rd Street N.E. on the SALT Block.
The class will cover various topics, including: how digital cameras work; the types of pictures and movies that can be made; downloading pictures into a personal computer; and editing and enhancing pictures with photo software. Various methods of printing, emailing and adding pictures to websites will also be covered.
