Hickory Man Jailed on Felony Assault Charge

34-year-old Jeffery Benjamin Killian of 26th Street S.W. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police early this morning on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.  He has been confined in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a $25,000 secured bond.  A first appearance in District Court was set for tomorrow (December 12).
