Paramount Automotive's Car Give-Away Raises Funds for United Way

Terry Jennings of Century Furniture won a new car today (December 6) at the Catawba County United Way’s Car Giveaway.  Jennings will choose between a VW Jetta, a Kia SX-Forte or a Hyundai Elantra.  The vehicle will be donated by Benny Yount and the Paramount Automotive Group.

1,772 “fair share” donors participated in the United Way’s 2012-2013 campaign.  From that group, ten finalists were selected and entered into the drawing for the new car.

The finalists met today at Paramount Automotive’s Kia showroom on South Center Street in Hickory. Each finalist was given a key.  Of the ten, Jennings’ key was used to successfully start a vehicle, making him the winner.
