Two from Lenoir Charged with Common Law Robbery

22-year-old Matthew Paeton Nichols of Echo Drive and 25-year-old Megan Leigh Nichols of Wilson Street, both from Lenoir, were arrested yesterday (November 27) by Lenoir Police.  They are both charged with felony common law robbery.  Matthew Nichols is also charged with simple assault.  Both suspects were placed in the Caldwell Co. Detention Center with Matthew Nichols’ bond set at $25,000, secured, while Megan Nichols was given a $10,000 secured bond.  They will appear in District Court tomorrow in Lenoir.
