Dickey's BBQ to Hold Fundraiser for Safe Kids of Catawba County

Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death in children from ages one to 14.  Safe Kids of Catawba County is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce and prevent those injuries by promoting safety for children in areas such as bicycle, fire, home, water, child passenger safety and more.  

Safe Kids Catawba County partners with local fire, E.M.S., law enforcement, health care and education personnel.  The coalition is led by Catawba Valley Medical Center.

Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, located at 1036 Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard S.E. in Hickory, will host a fundraiser for Safe Kids on Tuesday, November 27 from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Coupons will be handed out with every $1 donation.
