Naked Man Arrested in Church Men's Room 11/19/2012 11:34:58 AM
46-year-old James Albert Kimrey, Jr., a homeless man whose last listed address was in Durham, was arrested at about 9:30 Sunday morning (November 18) on misdemeanor counts of breaking & entering, indecent exposure and second-degree trespass.
Events leading to his arrest began the previous night when an employee at the Resurrection Church on Clement Boulevard in Hickory told Kimrey to leave the property. He later turned up at the front door but did not gain entry. At some point during the early morning hours, Kimrey fell through the roof of the church building and was later found by Police naked in the menís room. He was not injured.
Kimrey was taken to the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $1,200, secured. An appearance in District Court was scheduled for February 5, 2013 in Hickory.
