The musical stage play “Gypsy” continues for its second weekend on Thursday March 11 at the Hickory Community Theatre.  Presented on the Jeffers Theatre mainstage, “Gypsy” follows the career of famed burlesque stripper, Gypsy Rose Lee.  As she rises to fame, her domineering stage mother adds drama to her ascent.

Performances are on Thursday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13 at 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday March 14 at 2:30 p.m.

Sunday March 14 is Super Sunday at HCT with all adult and senior tickets discounted to $10 each.  Group rates are available.  For information call 828-328-2283 or go to www.hct.org and purchase and print tickets at home.

HCT is located at 30 3rd St NW in downtown Hickory and is a Funded Affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County.  “Gypsy” is produced in part by Catawba Radiological Associates and First Citizens Bank.
