A 49-year-old Hickory man was the victim of felony breaking and entering sometime between 3:30 Monday afternoon and 4 p.m. yesterday.  A suspect or suspects unknown broke into the victim’s vacant rental property at 131 3rd Avenue SE, Hickory, and removed items including a Ryobi impact wrench and a Rheem air conditioning unit.  A door and a faucet were also damaged.

Estimated value of the items taken or damaged is $3,425.  Hickory Police are investigating.
