A man who was recently added to the Burke County Sheriff's Office most wanted list has been arrested by authorities in Catawba County.
35-year-old Brian Lee Tate of Kayla's Ridge Road in Connelly Springs was arrested Monday (September 25) by Newton Police Officers. In Catawba County, Tate is charged with two counts of felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, one felony count of obtaining property by false pretense, and one misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer. In Burke County Tate is charged with felony counts of break or enter a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and larceny of a firearm, along with misdemeanor counts of larceny and possession of stolen goods.
As WHKY reported yesterday, Tate was added to the Burke County Sheriff's Office most wanted list last Friday (September 22). Following Monday's arrest, Tate was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $42,500 total bond. District Court appearances were scheduled for today (September 26) in Catawba County and Wednesday (September 27) in Burke County. 31-year-old Andre T. Glover of Valley Street in Statesville was arrested today (September 25) by Catawba County Sheriff's Officers. He's charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, and maintain a place to keep controlled substance. Glover was detained in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $15,000 bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday (September 26).
43-year-old Sherry Elaine Clark of McLin Creek Road in Conover was arrested by Hickory Police at about 7:45 last night (September 24) on one felony count each of possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. 22-year-old Karley Mariue Felmore of Sandalwood Court in Newton was also arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of shoplifting, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
They were arrested after Hickory Police responded to a shoplifting call at the Mighty Dollar store on Highway 127 South in Mountain View. During the investigation, Clark and Felmore were detained. On Clark’s person, Officers found 0.1 grams of methamphetamine, one dosage unit of Valium, two dosage units of prednisone. Felmore was allegedly in possession of two dosage units of Xanax.
Both suspects were processed and released. Clark was given a $5,000 unsecured bond. Felmore’s bond was set at $750, unsecured. Clark was due in court today, while Felmore has a court date on December 12.
24-year-old Stephanie Elizabeth Fulk of 14th Street Place N.E. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police at about 11:10 Friday morning on one felony count of each of possession with intent to manufacture a schedule III controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance schedule, plus two felony counts of maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance.
Fulk was taken into custody Friday without incident on the 400 block of 7th Avenue S.W. in Hickory. She was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a $15,000 secured bond. She has since been released. An appearance in District Court was set for Wednesday (September 27) in Newton.
24-year-old Jorge Osmar Garcia of Indigo Run in Monroe has been arrested by Iredell Co. Sheriff’s Officers for possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Yesterday (September 24), an Officer with Iredell County’s Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team (ACE) was working in the area of the West Memorial Highway, near I-77 in North Union Grove, when he came into contact with Garcia.
While speaking with Garcia, the Officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Deputies searched the vehicle, where they found marijuana and 52 individually packaged bags of cocaine.
Garcia was arrested and given a $5,000 secured bond. No court date is currently listed.
27-year-old Casey Everett Pruitt of Hickory is wanted on numerous outstanding warrants from Alexander County for breaking & entering a motor vehicle.
It is believed Pruitt and 29-year-old Robert Spencer Keppel of Hickory are known associates who worked together in a series of vehicle break-ins. Authorities suspect that Pruitt and Keppel are the two individuals pictured in a surveillance photo released by the Alexander Co. Sheriff’s Office last week and reported by WHKY last Wednesday (September 20).
Keppel was arrested by Hickory Police last Thursday (September 21), as reported later that day on WHKY. Pruitt remains at large.

Keppel remains in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a $153,000 secured bond. He was scheduled to appear in District Court today (September 25) in Taylorsville.
35-year-old Shane Andrew Campbell of Startown Road in Maiden was arrested Saturday (September 23) by Caldwell County Sheriff's Officers. He's charged with felony counts of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. Campbell was detained in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled for today (September 25).
29-year-old Samantha Rena Lee of Connelly Springs Road in Lenoir was arrested shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday (September 24) by Hickory Police Officers. She's charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer.
Lee was arrested yesterday as Hickory Police on patrol at the Midland Plaza shopping center on Highway 70 S.W. saw three individuals in the vicinity. During the incident, Police found 0.7 grams of meth on Lee’s person.
Following her arrest, Lee was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $5,000 secured bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (September 25).
The Morganton Department of Public Safety responded to a structure fire on Brittain Drive Sunday evening (September 24). The call came in at 8:50 p.m. from the resident of the home. Everyone was out of the house when firefighters arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, responders noticed smoke coming from the house and the resident standing with a neighbor in the front yard. It was determined that the fire began in the kitchen on the stove when hot grease ignited, quickly spreading to the ceiling and into the attic through a vent fan. The smoke detector in the home alerted the resident, who called 911.
The fire was contained to the kitchen and a small section of the attic. There were no injuries and only minor damage to the structure, but the resident could not stay in the house for the evening. The American Red Cross responded to assist with temporary living arrangements. The functioning smoke detector was credited for the quick notification which allowed firefighters to arrive in time to contain the blaze.
34-year-old Erica Little Hefner of Jack Whitener Road in Newton was arrested Friday (September 22) by Lenoir Police Officers. She was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. Hefner was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $15,000 secured bond. A District Court date was set for today (September 25).
30-year-old Aaron Ross Moore of Deal Road in Claremont was arrested by North Carolina Wildlife Officers. He's charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Moore was detained this morning (September 25) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $3,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled for today.
19-year-old Grayson Phillip Spann of Spann Hill Circle in Lenoir was arrested Friday (September 22) by Caldwell County Sheriff's Officers. He's charged with electronic house arrest curfew violation and bracelet removal, resisting a public officer, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
Spann was wanted by the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office for absconding from house arrest. Following his arrest, Spann was detained in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $65,000 secured bond. District Court appearances are scheduled for October 24, November 2 and November 7.
New names have been added to the Burke County Sheriff's Office most wanted list.
35-year-old Brian Lee Tate is wanted by authorities in Burke County. He's being sought for numerous unspecified felony charges. Tate's last known address was 6050 Kayla's Ridge Road in Connelly Springs.
37-year-old Amanda Leanne Napier was added to the Burke County Sheriff's Office most wanted list. She's charged with felony breaking and entering along with misdemeanor counts of larceny and possession of stolen goods. Napier's last known address was 9709 Roger Hill Road in Connelly Springs.
40-year-old Clinton R. Burton is wanted by authorities in Burke County on a probation violation. The probation was imposed as a result of drug offenses. Burton's last known address was 500 East Meeting Street, Apartment 4, in Morganton.

Robert Bradley Cranford was arrested last Wednesday (September 20) by Lincolnton Police Officers. He's charged with two counts of felony dissemination of obscenity.
On Thursday, September 7, the Lincolnton Police Department took a report in reference to the dissemination of obscene photographs. Robert Bradley Cranford was listed as the suspect in the investigation. The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division. After a thorough investigation and numerous interviews, warrants were issued on Cranford.
Following the arrest, bond for Cranford was set at $3,000 secured. He was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court last Thursday (September 21). No additional court dates are listed.
