17 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed today (June 30) in Catawba County, increasing the total to 825, with 14 deaths. Hospitalizations dropped to 12, from 15 Monday (June 29). Today is also the first day since last Wednesday (June 24) that the county did not report at least 30 new cases of the coronavirus. At least 340 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Catawba County, and there have been 3,325 negative test results.
