Hickory Man Arrested for Failure to Appear in Connection to Oct. Break-In

30-year-old Edgar Flores Lozada of 15th Street N.E. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police at about 7:45 last night (November 14) for failure to appear on a felony. The warrant for his arrest was issued Tuesday (November 12).

The charges are in connection to an incident on October 21 of this year when Police responded to a break-in at a residence on 14th Avenue N.E. in Hickory. He was charged with breaking & entering and larceny after breaking & entering. He was initially arrested the following day.

Lozada was taken into custody without incident last night at his residence. He was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $15,000, secured. He has since been released. An appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
