33-year-old Donald Lee Beaver of Hamilton Road in Troutman was arrested by Iredell County Sheriff's Officers. He's charged with felony larceny, two felony counts apiece of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods, two misdemeanor counts of resist, obstruct, and delay an officer, and one misdemeanor count of larceny. Beaver was also charged with sixteen counts of felony probation violation.
According to information released Thursday (November 14), last Thursday, November 7, deputies and detectives with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office were conducting surveillance on a location in the eastern part of Iredell County. The surveillance began after information was gathered regarding Donald Lee Beaver, who had been frequenting the area on a four wheeler.
At the time of the surveillance operation, Beaver had 23 outstanding felony and misdemeanor arrest Warrants outstanding, including with Probation Violations. He was at the time considered one of Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted Persons.
While conducting surveillance, deputies received additional information about Beaver staying in a barn off of Loggerhead Road. Deputies went there and found Beaver hiding in the barn.
He was taken into custody after a brief struggle. There were two four-wheelers found in the barn which had been previously reported stolen. The total estimated value of the stolen four-wheelers is $6,500.
Donald Lee Beaver was then taken to the Iredell County Detention Center where his bond was set at $376,000. A District Court appearance is scheduled for November 27. Additional charges are expected as this investigation continues.
