Lenoir Man Arrested In Catawba County On Failure To Appear Warrants

28-year-old Adam Christopher Burgin of Hickory Boulevard S.W. in Lenoir was arrested by Hickory Police shortly after noon yesterday (July 11) on one felony count of failure to appear on a charge of larceny by removing, destroying, or deactivating an anti-shoplifting device. The warrant for his arrest was issued on July 5 in Buncombe County.

Burgin was taken into custody yesterday on the 200 block of Highway 70 S.W. in Hickory. He was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $10,000, secured. An appearance in District Court was scheduled for July 15 in Asheville.
