Hickory Man Arrested on Warrant for Possession of Cocaine

52-year-old Thomas Christopher Holmes of 4th Street Place S.E. in Hickory were arrested by Hickory Police at 10:20 a.m. yesterday (July 11) on two outstanding warrants for felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor counts of larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrants were issued on June 24. The drug case involving Holmes dates back to November of last year.

Holmes was taken into custody without incident yesterday at the Hickory Police Department. He was processed and later released under a $5,000 secured bond. A Superior Court date was set for June 12 with a District Court date coming up on August 8, both in Newton.
