29-year-old Jeremy Neal McDougal of Lincolnton and 18-year-old Savannah Lee Ann Goins of Crouse were both arrested today (June 11) by Lincoln County Sheriff's Officers. Both suspects are charged with felony counts of buying and receiving stolen property and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Schedule II controlled substance along with a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. McDougal is additionally charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Following complaints and tips from the public, narcotics investigators began surveillance of a residence in the 2100 block of Swanson Road in Crouse. A search of the home was conducted today. Officers seized 25 grams of methamphetamine valued at $700, two stolen guns and drug paraphernalia.
McDougal was placed in the Harven A Crouse Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. Goins was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond. They are both scheduled to appear in District Court Wednesday (June 12).
