Granite Falls Man Arrested in Hickory on Stolen Vehicle Charge

31-year-old Marcus Allen Rudisill of Archer Street in Granite Falls was arrested by Hickory Police early this morning (May 17) on one felony count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Rudisill was arrested after Officers saw two suspicious subjects standing near a 2006 Chrysler P.T. Cruiser at a convenience store on 2nd Avenue N.W. in Hickory. Police checked the vehicle registration and found that Chrysler had been reported stolen in Caldwell County.

Rudisill was taken into custody and placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $9,000, secured. He was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court today in Newton.
