Hickory Man Jailed in Connection to Business Break-In

33-year-old James Devin Throneburg of George Hildebran School Road in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police at about 11:30 Monday morning (May 13) on two felony counts each of breaking & entering and larceny after breaking & entering and one felony count each of uttering a forged instrument and processing stolen goods.

Throneburg was arrested in connection to an incident on April 15 when Officers responded to a break-in at a business on 16th Street N.E. in Hickory. The suspect was identified after a check that was stolen from the business was cashed. Warrants for Throneburg's arrest were issued on April 23 and May 13.

He was taken into custody without incident at a duplex on 4th Street S.E. Throneburg was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $43,000, secured. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
