34-year-old Shelby Darrell Fraley of Murdock Road in Troutman and 24-year-old Rachel Lee Pressley of Red Rose Lane in Statesville were arrested Wednesday (April 10) by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. The suspects were each charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep or store a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers were following up on information received by conducting a knock and talk meeting at a residence on Murdock Road in Troutman. Officers made contact with Fraley and Pressley and noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. After talking to the residents, Officers issued a search warrant for the home. After conducting a canine search of the home, Officers found 66.3 grams of marijuana, marijuana wax, marijuana paraphernalia, and $6,904.63.
Fraley and Pressley were taken to the Iredell County Detention Center with bond set at $20,000, secured for both suspects. District Court appearances for both Fraley and Pressley were scheduled for May 2.
