Armed Robbery at Hickory Convenience Store under Investigation

At about 10:50 last night (April 11), Hickory Police responded to an armed robbery at the Speedway convenience store at 4431 North Center Street. During the robbery, the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect left the store.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male with a slender-build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, gloves, and a mask.
