26-year-old Adam Christopher Daly, 50-year-old Carolyn Elizabeth Gibson, and 34-year-old Michael Shane Coffey, all from the same address on Jolly Place in Lenoir, along with 29-year-old Brittany Correl Greene of Twin Meadow Drive in Hudson, have all been arrested by Lenoir Police on drug charges.
Daly and Greene were both charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine. Daly was also charged with felony counts of maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a weapon of mass destruction, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Gibson was charged with felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, while Coffey faces one felony count for possession of meth.
They were arrested just after nine o'clock last night (March 14) when Lenoir Police Officers with the Narcotics Unit and the Special Response Team, with assistance from the Caldwell Co. Sheriff’s Office, served a search warrant at the suspects' residence on Jolly Place. During the search, Investigators found and seized 2.8 grams of meth, a sawed-off shotgun, and $510 in cash. The drugs seized have an estimated value of $435.
These arrests were the result of a two-month-long investigation. More charges may be forthcoming.
All four suspects were taken to the Caldwell Co. Detention Center where Daly was given a $100,000 secured bond. Greene's bond was set at $20,000, secured. Gibson was given a $10,000 secured bond and Coffey was held under a $15,000 secured bond. First appearances in District Court were scheduled today in Lenoir.
