42-year-old Christopher Lee Walker of 19th Avenue S.W. in Hickory, 36-year-old James Russell Braswell of Wilson Road in Hildebran, and 19-year-old Cameron Wayne Dellinger of Mountain Terrace Drive in Hickory have all been arrested by Hickory Police. They were each charged with felony buying or receiving stolen goods. Walker was also served a bill of indictment for felony possession of methamphetamine.
No details were released regarding the stolen property charges. Walker's drug charge stems from an incident in January 2018. At that time, following a traffic stop, Walker was found with half a gram of meth in his possession.
All three suspects were taken into custody without incident between 9:45 and 10:30 a.m. yesterday (March 13) at a recycling business on 3rd Avenue Drive N.W. in Hickory. They were jailed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond for Walker set at $20,000, secured. Braswell was given a $10,000 secured bond, while Dellinger was held under a $5,000 secured bond. First appearances in District Court were scheduled today in Newton. Walker was also due in Superior Court today on the drug charge.
