Georgia Man Arrested by Conover P.D. on Felony Fugitive Warrant

38-year-old Juan Carnell Miller of Atlanta, Georgia was arrested by Conover Police Wednesday (February 6) on a felony warrant as a fugitive awaiting extradition to another state. The Catawba Co. Sheriff's Office also charged Miller with obtaining a controlled substance by fraud and resisting a public officer. Miller is wanted by Detectives in the city of Clinton in Hinds County, Mississippi for accessory before the fact to prescription forgery.

Miller was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $45,000, secured. He was scheduled to appear in District Court on the fugitive warrant yesterday (February 7) with his next court date on the other charges coming up on February 28 in Newton.
