40-year-old Jason Craig Connolly and 33-year-old Tralaina Mognet, both of the same Trinity Road, Statesville address, were arrested Wednesday (January 9) by Iredell County Sheriff's Officers. They're each charged with two felony counts of manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of meth.
On Wednesday deputies with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence on Trinity Road to make an attempt to serve child support warrants on Tralaina Mognet. While looking for Mognet, they saw what they believed to be ingredients and containers that are used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The deputies secured the area and called for assistance at the location from investigators with the Narcotics Investigation Unit. Investigators arrived and verified the items had been and were still being used to make methamphetamine. A search warrant was obtained along with witnesses statements. Narcotics Investigators collected the items as evidence.
Bond for Connolly was set at $400,000 secured. Mognet received a $125,000 secured bond. No court dates were listed.
