24-year-old Malik Selassei Levons, 23-year-old Victoria Breanna Williams and 28-year-old Antonio Markel Hewitt, all of the same address on 12th Avenue S.E. in Hickory, have all been arrested on felony charges by Hickory Police. Levons was charged with felony counts of forgery of bank notes and obtaining property by false pretense, plus one misdemeanor count of assault on a female. The warrants for his arrest were issued on October 20 and September 10. Williams was faces felony charges for maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana. Hewitt, who had been listed as an absconder from parole, was charged with a felony parole violation.
The arrests occurred as Officers at the suspects' address attempted to locate Hewitt, who was wanted for a parole violation. During the arrests, Police found two dosage units of oxycodone, 514.11 grams of marijuana, a .22 Magnum handgun and drug paraphernalia. Levons and Hewitt were taken into custody at about 6 p.m. Friday (December 28) at the residence. Williams was arrested two days later, also at the residence.
All three suspects were placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility where Levons and Hewitt were initially held without bond. Levons' bond has since been set at $15,500, secured. Williams was given a $10,000 secured bond. Levons will appear in District Court on January 7 & 14. Williams is due in District Court on January 3. Hewitt remains in jail without bond and no listed court date.
