Break-ins that occurred in an Iredell County neighborhood are currently under investigation. Last Wednesday (December 12) the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to two residential breaking and enterings which had been reported off of Brawley School Road.
The first incident was reported off of Brookridge Drive, which is located off of McKendree Road. In this incident the suspect(s) entered the residence through the kitchen window. They used an unknown tool to break the window lock, and then entered the home. They went through each room emptying all of the drawers and cabinets. The only item stolen was a jewelry box which contained numerous pieces of jewelry.
A witness in the area noticed a blue, two door Saturn car. The witness told police the vehicle pulled on to Brookridge Drive at a high rate of speed. A few minutes later, the same car left the area at a high rate of speed. The only other description was that it appeared as if a white female was driving the vehicle.
The second break-in was reported approximately an hour later in the area of Crystal Circle off of Wood Duck Loop. In this incident, the suspect(s) broke into the residence by prying the basement door open. Stolen from this residence was a jewelry box containing several pieces of jewelry along with a gun. A witness in the area noticed a blue Saturn, similar to the one seen in the area of Brookridge Drive. The witness managed to take pictures of the suspects, and the vehicle. In the pictures a female is in the driver seat, and it appears to be a black male walking around the vehicle talking to the female.
