28-year-old Dennis Glenn Welch, Jr. of Charlotte and 28-year-old Adrienne Paige Wilson of Kings Mountain were both arrested Tuesday (November 6) by Granite Falls Police Officers. They're each charged with felony counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Two additional suspects are being sought in this case.
They're charged in connection to an armed robbery at the Tobacco-To-Go convenience store October 30. Charlotte Mecklenburg Police found Welch and Wilson at a motel in Charlotte. They are two of four individuals identified as suspects in the robbery.
22-year-old Jake Evan Patrie and 19-year-old Taylor Renee Patrie are wanted in connection with the robbery. Both individuals were last known to live in the Charlotte area. Granite Falls Police have yet to locate them.
Welch and Wilson were placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center. They were each jailed under a $150,000 secured bond. Their first appearance in District Court in Lenoir is scheduled for Thursday (November 8). Welch was also served with failure to appears on traffic charges from Gaston County.
