37-year-old Michael Wayne Walker and 30-year-old Adam Curtis Clark, both of the same NW Hillside Street, Lenoir address, were arrested Tuesday (September 11) by Caldwell County Sheriff's Officers. They're each charged with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep controlled substance.
On Tuesday, at approximately 10 a.m., SWAT and Narcotics Agents conducted a search at 214 Hillside Street in Lenoir. The search was the result of an investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Ice Unit and Lenoir Police Department Narcotics Unit. According to a news release, undercover purchases of methamphetamine were made from the residence.
Agents searched the home and found approximately 210 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sale, $7,649 in cash, drug ledgers, a small amount of marijuana, and other items of drug paraphernalia. The news release says that agents believed that the two suspects were working together and are responsible for distributing pounds of methamphetamine throughout Caldwell County. The drugs seized have a street value of $31,500 according to North Carolina Guidelines. The investigation is continuing.
Both suspects were incarcerated at the Caldwell County Detention Center. Walker's bond was set at $100,000 secured, Clark was given a $30,000 secured bond. They both have District Court dates Thursday (September 13).
