19-year-old Noah Michael Davis of Constantine, Michigan, was arrested Saturday (September 8) in Michigan on a charge filed by the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. He's charged with felony first degree statutory rape.
On May 21, 2018 a report was filed with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office in reference to First Degree Statutory Rape of a 12-year-old female victim. During the course of the investigation the victim was interviewed, and disclosed having met and communicated with Noah Michael Davis through social media.
Davis made arrangements to travel from Michigan to North Carolina to meet with the victim. Upon the suspect’s arrival in Statesville, he checked into a hotel near the victim’s home. Davis arranged to meet the victim and had sexual intercourse with the victim before leaving North Carolina.
A felony arrest warrant was obtained on Noah Michael Davis and he was listed as a Wanted Person. Davis was arrested in Muskegon County Michigan by the Michigan State Police. Bond for Davis was set at $75,000 secured. A District Court appearance is scheduled for September 26.
