34-year-old Kenneth Lee McBride of German Street in Lenoir was arrested today (June 12) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with one felony count of conspiracy to traffic in more than 400 grams of methamphetamine.
Today at 10:10 a.m. Lenoir Police Officers located Kenneth McBride at 817 Corpening Place in Lenoir. At that time McBride was arrested for possession of a stolen license plate. The license plate had been reported stolen from Burke County on May 5. McBride was transported to the Lenoir Police Department where officers attempted to interview him.
As a result of an ongoing undercover investigation which included investigators from the Lenoir Police Department, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office, Boone Police Department, and the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office, McBride was charged with the felony drug offense.
McBride received a $200,000 secured bond. His initial court date is scheduled for Wednesday (June 13).
