45-year-old Rodney Scott Wright of N.C. Highway 10 North and 20-year-old Carl Lloyd Almany of Knoll Drive, both from Vale, have been arrested by Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Detectives and charged with felony counts of breaking & entering, larceny after breaking & entering and possession of stolen goods or property.
They are accused of breaking into an unoccupied residence on the 1600 block of Grand Point Lane in western Lincoln County on January 14 of this year. Stolen in the break-in were kitchen and bathroom appliances and a camper shell for a pickup truck.
Almany is also accused of breaking into a residential garage at a home on the 2100 block of North Brook Number III School Road on July 26, 2013. Lawn equipment was stolen.
Both men had District Court dates yesterday (May 21) with Superior Court appearances coming up on June 2.
Detectives are also searching for four more suspects from Vale in connection to other break-ins. They are:
- 20-year-old Lloyd Allen Roark, Jr. of Peeler Road;
- 19-year-old Quinton Lee Allen Roark of Peeler Road;
- 26-year-old Anthony Jackson Lewis of Mull Road; and
- 36-year-old Thomas Andrew Parker of Ed Craig Lane.
The Roarks are charged in connection to an April 23, 2014 break-in and larceny at an unoccupied house on Rose Ridge Lane that was being used for storage. Various items, including tarps and blankets, were stolen.
Lewis is charged with a break-in and larceny on the 2100 block of North Brook Number III School Road and Parker is wanted for a break-in and larceny at Wright Brothers Tomato Company on Old Highway 18 in Lawndale. Cash was stolen from the business on December 31, 2013.
