34-year-old Daniel Nicholas Williams of Kenham Place in Lenoir was arrested by Lenoir Police Monday on felony charges of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine, manufacturing cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
On Monday (May 5), the Lenoir Police Narcotics Unit, in conjunction with Probation & Parole Officers, conducted a voluntary search of Williams’ residence. Williams is currently on probation for drug charges and is subject to warrantless searches as a condition of his probation.
The search yielded approximately 10.9 grams of powder cocaine and $2,900 in U.S. currency. The cocaine has a street value of $1,050.
This investigation, which lasted three months, was the direct result of community complaints.
Williams was released on a written promise to appear with a first court appearance set for today (May 8).
