More details have been released in the arrests of 22-year-old Tevin Jerome Davis of Lansing Circle in Mooresville, 22-year-old Demarcus Kashaun Pollard of 12th Street Drive S.W. in Hickory and 23-year-old Patral Marquis White of 2nd Street Place S.E. in Hickory, initially reported yesterday on WHKY. The three were all charged with felony possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. White was also charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana.
The three were arrested Monday (March 31) on the 100 block of 2nd Avenue S.W. in Hickory after Hickory Police conducted a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation. During the course of the vehicle stop, a K-9 Officer alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. The three occupants -- Davis, Pollard and White -- were all asked to exit.
A consent search was conducted and a firearm was discovered in the vehicle. All three men denied possession of the firearm. As convicted felons, the men were all placed under arrest. During a search of White’s person, marijuana was found.
All three men remain in custody in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility. After first appearances in court today, Davis’ bond was set at $25,000, secured. Pollard is being held without bond and White was given a $33,000 secured bond. They will next appear in District Court on April 23 in Newton.
