Lenoir-Rhyne Indoor Track and Field Teams Picked Second in Preseason Conference Poll

Savannah Watkins was named an athlete to watch in the Pentathlon Savannah Watkins was named an athlete to watch in the Pentathlon Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field teams have been picked to finish second in the Preseason South Atlantic Conference Coaches' Poll.

On the men's side, LR received 98 points and was picked to finish behind Queens. The athletes to watch this season for LR include:
Sprints: PJ Lotharp
Distance: Chandelor Stamp
Field: Chris Reichenbach

The women earned 101 points and also two first-place votes and are also predicted to finish behind Queens. The athletes to watch out for are:
Pentathlon: Savannah Watkins
Distance: Janet Kwambai
Field: Autumn Drayton

The Bears open their season on December 7 when they travel to Winston-Salem to compete in the JDL Fast Track.
