Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball junior outside hitter Taylor Prall has been named the South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the league today. Prall led the Bears to a 4-0 weekend with wins over Francis Marion, Grand Valley St., North Greenville and Belmont Abbey. Additionally, Prall was announced as the Most Valuable Player of the Queens Fall Classic.
Prall established a career-high in the Bears season-opener as the Tipp City, Ohio native hit .654 in a 3-0 win over Francis Marion. Prall would tally 17 kills in the match and didn't have a single error. For the week, Prall led all SAC players with 45 kills as her squad didn't drop a set all weekend. Prall would add four aces, 37 digs and four blocks for the week.
Prall and the Bears return to action on Tuesday night when they host Catawba at 7pm.
