Lenoir-Rhyne's Hampton Named SAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

Lenoir-Rhyne's Demarius Hampton was named AstroTurf Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for meets contested February 4 through February 10, the Conference office announced today.

Hampton, a senior from Carthage, N.C., won the triple jump at the JDL College Challenge. His jump of 48'-4.75" was a Lenoir-Rhyne program record and an NCAA Division II provisional mark. He is now ranked No. 13 in the nation in the triple jump.

This marks the first Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for Hampton.
