The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team fell at the hands of the Carson-Newman Eagles on Tuesday night in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament, 3-0.

Sophomore Taylor Prall flirted with a double-double, leading the team with eight kills and 12 digs.

On the offensive end, after Prall's eight kills, Taylor Walton came off the bench with five of her own.

The Bears only hit .038 as a team while the Eagles hit .162. Carson-Newman also put up 11 aces, compared to three for LR.

Megan Oldenberger and Erin Edwards led all players with nine kills each, but Oldenburger neared a double-double as she recorded 11 digs as well.

The Bears season ends at 17-11.

Neither team had one player with double-digit kills in the game.

The Bears ended their season on a four-game losing streak and this was the third loss coming at the hands of Carson-Newman this season.
