Jacobs capitalized on the opportunity, single to left and bringing in Thompson to score. Left fielder Austin O'Banion brought Rollins around to score as well on a single of his own that gave the Crawdads a 2-0 lead.
The Braves bats rallied in the top of the second off Crawdads starting pitcher Tyree Thompson to tie the game at two.
Crawdads shortstop Cristian Inoa and Bubba Thompson led off the bottom half of the inning with back-to-back doubles to give the 'Dads back the lead.
The Braves tied it up once again in the fourth by taking Tyree Thompson deep with a solo homerun to left center. They took the lead in the ninth on a single that made the score 4-3.
Bubba Thompson recorded multiple hits in a game for the 3rd time in his first 6 games with the Crawdads. Thompson was the Rangers 1st round draft pick last year.
