Several members of the Lenoir-Rhyne Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Teams competed Saturday at the University of Tennessee Challenge at the Tom Black Track.
On the women's side, Lenoir-Rhyne freshman Domonique Jones (Greensboro, Ga.) placed sixth in the discus throw (115'6") while sophomore Ashley Wells (Arrington, Va.) was fifth in the women's javelin (121'4").
Freshman Brooke Robinson (Newton, N.C.) also competed in women's competition for the Bears, placing fifth overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.20.
L-R junior Jarrod Spears (Bunnlevel, N.C.) finished 10th in the men's 100-meter dash (10.87) and freshman Sterling Jones (Winston-Salem, N.C.) was fifth overall in the men's 110-meter hurdles (15.36).
Lenoir-Rhyne wraps up the regular season next Sunday, May 11, at the Aggie Last Chance Meet, hosted by North Carolina A&T State University, in Greensboro, N.C.
