L-R Men's Golf in Sixth Place at Tennessee River Rumble Intercollegiate

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf Team sits in sixth place out of 10 schools after the first round Monday of the Tennessee River Rumble Intercollegiate at the Tennessee National Golf Club.

The Bears shot a 312 (+24) on the par-72, 7,163-yard course while North Greenville leads with a two-under 286.

The Crusaders are led by Josh O'Neal and Mac Bradley, who are both tied for first with a 68 (-4).

Lenoir-Rhyne is led by junior David Donovan (Hampstead, N.C.). Donovan is third overall with an even-par 72 while freshman Blake Childers (Granite Falls, N.C.) shot a 76 (+4), good for a 15th-place tie.

The second and final round takes place on Tuesday.
